Essendon chiropractic, massage and psychology
Our goal was simple - create a modern, professional environment where people could find no-nonsense, tailored health advice.
A little bit different, in all the right ways.
Our appointments are a little longer than most. We ask a lot of questions, and err on the side of over-explaining. And while we have a good idea of what works for different kinds of pain (we’ve seen it all), we don’t use cookie-cutter approaches - we tailor everything for the person in front of us. Our treatment table looks a bit weird, but it’s an engineering masterpiece designed for precise treatment of spinal conditions.
If you’re looking for healthcare in the Moonee Valley with the right kind of difference, we might be the place for you.
Multiple service providers. One common vision.
Cervus Allied Health was founded by Dr Hayden Mackenzie (Chiropractor) originally as Cervus Chiropractic. As we grew into our location in Essendon we opened our doors for other passionate and dedicated health professionals to run their business from our rooms. While we remain distinct business entities, we share the common goal of helping our community to recover, maintain and optimise their physical and mental wellbeing.
We are exceptionally proud to offer a range of health services to the Essendon, Strathmore and surrounding Moonee Valley community in a space which has been meticulously designed to facilitate recovery and healing. A space designed with you in mind
-
Bringing nature indoors.
Research tells us that environments which feature nature have a positive impact on patient outcomes. We brought this concept into our clinic using a philosophy of “bring nature indoors”. In addition to the many plants in our practice you’ll find artwork which puts calm, natural imagery at the forefront and furniture made of natural, sustainable materials.
-
Cool, calm and collected
Our treatment rooms are designed around cool colours, warm lighting and . The contrast creates an inviting and cosy atmosphere which helps our patients feel at ease and lowers their stress levels.
-
Round. Soft. Breathable.
The shapes in our rooms gravitate towards round edges and soft surfaces. These lessen the echo in the room and allow patients to feel heard, and our practitioners to avoid feeling the need to speak loudly against the acoustics. It also improves privacy and decreases outside noise, so that the focus can be where it belongs - on you.
